2012 NESCAC baseball all-conference team

Klein was one of 12 players voted to the second team by the NESCAC head coaches. He started all 32 games and helped Hamilton take two of three from Middlebury College as the Continentals claimed their first NESCAC West Division series win since 2009.

The 5-foot, 9-inch first baseman/outfielder leads the NESCAC with a .504 on-base percentage. Klein set the program's single-season walks record with 26, which is good for second in the conference. He ranks 20th in Division III in walks per game. Klein led Hamilton with a .351 batting average (33-94) and nine doubles, and tied for the team lead with a .500 slugging percentage. He drove in 17 runs and stole eight bases.

The Continentals finished with a 6-26 overall record, including a 2-10 mark in the NESCAC West Division. Klein is the first Hamilton baseball player to earn all-NESCAC honors since pitcher Max Foster '10 was named to the first team in 2009.
