Gabe Klein '13 and Joe Buicko '11 had three hits apiece to lead Hamilton College to an 11-6 win against SUNY Cobleskill in a non-conference game at Cobleskill's Fighting Tiger Field on April 8.

Hamilton (6-13 overall) stopped its losing streak at three games with a 15-hit attack. Buicko scored three runs and drove in one. Lukas Bridenbeck '13 doubled and plated three runs. Wes Mayberry '11 and Kevin Prindle '13 posted two hits and two RBI apiece. Mike Matt '11 went 2-for-4 and drove in a run.

John Wulf '12 improved to 3-0 as he started on the mound and threw five innings. Wulf allowed three earned runs on five hits, walked one and struck out two. Alex Zeig '14 picked up his first save with the Continentals. Zeig allowed two runs on five hits in four innings, walked one and fanned one.

Jonas Willson went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in for Cobleskill (3-9). Jason Proct allowed six earned runs on seven hits and hit two batters in 3.1 innings, and took the loss.

Hamilton broke a 2-2 tie with three runs in the top of the third inning. Klein and Buicko led off the inning with singles, and Mayberry was hit by a pitch to load the bases. After a strikeout, Bridenbeck walked to force in the first run. Prindle hit a fly ball to center field to drive in Buicko and make the score 4-2. Matt followed with a single to score Mayberry with the third run of the inning.

The Continentals seized control of the contest with four more runs in the fourth for a 9-2 advantage. Klein was plunked to lead off the inning, and Buicko and Mayberry followed to load the bases with no outs. After a fielder's choice forced Klein out at home, Bridenbeck drove in two runs with a double. Justin Atwood '11 scored on a passed ball, and Prindle singled to bring Bridenbeck around.

Hamilton hosts the College of Mount Saint Vincent for another non-conference game on Sunday, April 10.
