Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies Jessica Burke presented at the Twentieth Southeast Conference on Foreign Languages and Films at Stetson University in DeLand, Fla., on March 3.
Her presentation, "Body, Identity, and the Writing Process in the Narrative of Carmen Boullosa," was based on her current book project, which explores the relationship between body, writing, and identity in the novels of contemporary Mexican writer Carmen Boullosa.
