A win today by George W. Bush could corner the market on Washington power for the GOP, with Republicans battling fiercely across America to retain control of both the House and Senate... Close races from coast to coast have Democrats hoping they can shatter the Republicans six-year hold on the House of Representatives... "I think it's a pretty good likelihood," said Philip Klinkner, a political scientist from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. "Things are looking fairly good for Bush. And GOP will probably hold onto the Senate. The House is a toss-up. But (GOP control) is the most likely outcome."
