Catie Gibbons ‘09 recently put together a team with the American Cancer Society to raise money and awareness while participating in the Chicago Marathon. Together with her sister, Megan Gibbons ’12, and several other Hamilton alumni and parents, they raised over $25,000. Catie says that this story is “a testament to the relationships that my sister and I have created on Hamilton’s campus.” Catie and Megan decided to get a Hamilton group together to support the American Cancer Society after their mother, Kelly Kearney Gibbons, passed away in February after a year and a half battle with cancer.

During their time at Hamilton, Catie was on the lacrosse team and majored in government and Megan was on the swimming team and majored in biology. To find out more about the American Cancer Society or to donate please follow the link here.
