Dan Chambliss discusses How College Works at MIT

Daniel Chambliss, the Eugene M. Tobin Distinguished Professor of Sociology, discussed How College Works at several recent alumni events in New England. The book, which he co-authored with Christopher Takacs ’05, was published in 2014 by Harvard University Press.

Chambliss visited MIT on March 30 for a talk hosted by John Werner ’92; Assumption College in Worcester, Mass., on March 31; and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., on April 2.

Among the alumni in attendance were several Chambliss had as students, including one he had in 1982 during his first year teaching at Hamilton.
