Sixty-eight members of the Hamilton College Choir and College Hill Singers will spend the first week of their spring break in March touring the Northeast as part of the annual choir tour. This year's tour will take the choir as far south as Arlington, Va., and north to Burlington, Vt.

Under the direction of Professor of Music and Director of Choral Music G. Roberts Kolb, the Choir and College Hill Singers will present a selection of both sacred and secular works ranging from the Renaissance to the present day, including a new work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Melinda Wagner '79.

Hamilton’s Choir boasts an uninterrupted tradition of fine choral singing that dates back for more than a century. The choir travels regularly throughout the eastern half of the United States and has undertaken six concert tours in Europe, most recently to Italy in 2009. This year the choir will perform concerts in seven Northeast cities, including Burlington, Albany, Ridgefield, Conn., Boston, Philadelphia, Arlington, Va., and New York City.

Performance dates are Albany, March 13; Burlington, March 14; Boston, March 15; Ridgefield, March 16; New York, March 17; Arlington, March 18; and Philadelphia, March 19. Follow link here for times and locations.
