Christopher Daniels '85 has created a new association to support Hamiltonians who are involved in new enterprises called Hamilton Ventures. More than 200 alumni have registered for Hamilton Ventures.Org which is intended to support entrepreneurs in both for-profit and non-profit areas. Membership is restricted to Hamilton alumni and interested alumni should contact c.daniels@hamiltonventures.org for Web site logon,  password and additional information.

The registered members come from 19 states and territories and 2 foreign countries.  20 percent are women.  Thirty one classes from 1960 to 2008 are represented.  Of those 1995, 1988 and 1978 are the most active and 40 percent are greeks with AD, Sigma Phi and Delta Upsilon the most active.  Forty six percent have advanced degrees and about 60 percent of those have MBAs, 10 percent have JD and 3 percent are MDs.

The Hamilton Ventures Web site provides information to members and acts as a resource for Hamilton alumni to find employment, financing, business relationships or advisory services all of which originate from other Hamilton alumni.  

The first annual Hamilton Ventures Symposium is scheduled for Februray 7, 2009 at the United Nations in New York.  The Symposium will be an opportunity to meet Hamilton alumni who are operating new enterprises.  In addition, Hamilton Ventures will present awards to recognize achievements by enterprise leaders.  See the Hamilton Ventures Web site for registration information and to nominate alumni for "Hamilton entrepreneur of the year."
