CNN’s State of the Union program will again feature Ambassador Edward Walker ’62, the Christian A. Johnson Distinguished Professor of Global Political Theory, on Sunday, Feb. 13, for the third consecutive week for a discussion of the situation in Egypt with CNN’s Candy Crowley and former U.N. Ambassador John Negroponte. As the former ambassador to Egypt, Israel and the UAE, Walker has been in tremendous demand by the media, appearing on Fox News, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, CBS, ABC and the Wall Street Journal (via video interview) and speaking with many other national and international print and radio outlets.

Richard Bernstein ’80, CEO and chief investment officer of Richard Bernstein Advisors, interviewed Walker on Friday, February 11, on CNBC. Bernstein was able to “shamelessly promote” his alma mater on air at the same time. Walker will also be interviewed on Friday, Feb. 11, by Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s Hardball at 7 p.m. and Fox News’ Shepherd Smith at 3 p.m. Utica NBC affiliate WKTV will include a portion of the CNBC interview on its Friday evening news broadcast.
