In case anyone was looking for superman on Saturday night, he was dressed in a blue and white hockey jersey with the number four on it.

Hamilton junior Brian Coakley scored to tie the game at 2-2 with under three minutes remaining in regulation, and then scored the game winner just 1:24 into the overtime as Hamilton survived a scare from sixth-seeded Colby in the ECAC quarterfinals with a 3-2 win at Sage Rink.

The Continentals struck first on a John Manley goal on an assist from David Webb, but the White Mules scored the next two goals, one each in the second and third periods to take a 2-1 lead. But Hamilton hung around behind the solid goaltending of Brent Davey (31 saves), setting up Coakley's heroics.

Hamilton, the third-seed advances to the ECAC Semi-finals, where they will face the #5 seed Salem State Vikings, on Friday, March 6th at 4 p.m. The game will be played at Connecticut College. SSC beat Hamilton 3-2 on a late goal last month at Hamilton.
