The White Mules of Colby scored six third period goals to
eliminate Hamilton from the ECAC East playoffs, 10-1. Dan Lavergne opened the scoring just 52 seconds into the game. Nick Lamia scored from Rob Koh on a power play at 12:45
of the first to make it 2-0 and the White Mules extended their lead to 4-0
after two periods. Hamilton's Joe Baudo pushed in a short-handed goal 4:17
into the third to make it 4-1, but Colby cranked it up at that point and took
advantage of eight Hamilton penalties, including two game misconducts. Lamia
made it 5-1 at 5:41 and Waller added another at 6:50. Pimental and Todd
McGovern added power play goals to run it to 8-1. Bill Riley, then Pimental
scored on another power play, making the final score, 10-1. Jason Cherella made 24 saves for the Mules, and Brent Davey and Jake DeBoever combined for 25 saves for Hamilton.
