Research conducted by Matthew Liptak has been published in the Feb. 15 issue of The Journal of Chemical Physics. Under the supervision of George Shields, professor of chemistry at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. , Mr. Liptak, a sophomore, refined computational methods that will help determine molecular structures.
