Eric Scott Kaplan training for the CT Challenge
Eric Scott Kaplan '04 and Matt Innes '05, former Hamilton lacrosse teammates and roommates will be riding on July 26 in the Connecticut Challenge: "Cycling for Cancer Survivors."  Their route will take them all over Connecticut, completing a 100 mile circuit.

Kaplan has been working in Credit Trading at Lehman Brothers in New York for four years and has logged more than 3,500 miles cycling since he started riding in New York. When Matt Innes arrived in New York and became Eric's roomate once again, he took up cycling as well. Innes works in Stamford for CB Richard Ellis in the Real Estate Investment Group and has been there for three years now.

Their motivation for the 100 mile endeavor? "We are riding the race for not just cancer survivors but moreover, for anyone who has fought an uphill battle against any disease, survivor or not; we are riding in support of the families, individuals and victims who have climbed much harder battles than we will climb in the hilly backcountry of Connecticut."

The money they are raising will benefit the Yale Cancer Center.  For more information about their race, please visit the Connecticut Challenge Web site.
