Assistant Professor of Economics Emily Conover was an invited speaker at the Impact Evaluation Network meeting that took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in August.

At the meeting Conover presented a paper on informal labor markets in Colombia. The paper shows how the expansion of social programs, in particular subsidized health insurance, generated incentives for some people to become informally employed.
