The Hamilton College men's swimming and diving team posted its sixth dual meet win in as many tries with a 175-125 victory against Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., on Saturday afternoon.

John McBratney '16 was part of three event wins for the Continentals. McBratney touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.97) and the 50 free (22.29 seconds). He also led off the winning 400 free relay that posted a time of 3:17.71. Luke Jeton '17, Case Tatro '18 and Scott Becker '17 joined McBratney on the relay.

Ryan Cassidy '17 was a double winner as he finished first in the 1,650 free (17:08.82) and the 500 free (4:58.79). Alex Jones '16 swept the butterfly events with wins in the 200 fly (2:05.02) and the 100 fly (54.49 seconds).

Ben Cooper '18 picked up Hamilton's other victory in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:03.71. Cooper added second place in the 100 back (57.18 seconds) to his day.

Tatro racked up three runner-up finishes in the 1,650 free (17:30.91), 100 free (50.08 seconds) and the 500 free (5:00.67). Trevor Pearson '18 was second in the 200 free (1:50.49) and ended up 2.06 seconds behind Cooper third place in the 200 back with a time of 2:05.77.

Jesse Bennett '19 took second place in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.84), Jeton was second in the 200 fly (2:06.13) and Jordan Allen '19 was runner-up in the 200 back (2:04.87).

Tripp Miller '18 finished second in the 200 breast (2:18.30) and the 200 individual medley (2:05.29). Diver Julian Ziaggi '17 landed in the second spot in the 1-meter springboard with 262.12 points.

The Continentals host Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Bristol Pool on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. Hamilton will honor its seniors at the meet.
