Professor Mark Cryer's play, 99 Questions You Always Wanted to Ask a Black Person, played to sold out audiences and rave reviews.  The work, suggests the Utica Observer-Dispatch, should be staged for new audiences, as "the message here is one for all generations."

Inspired to channel personal anger after encountering a racial slur, Cryer's play is, by his own admission, "entertaining, fun and educational." The playchallenges people to see each other as human beings, linked by their common humanity and not separated by their racial differences.  Patrons young and old alike were very complimentary, while those left standing at the door hope to some day get a second chance to catch the act.
