The Hamilton College English Department Fall Reading series will welcome poets Philip Memmer and Georgia Popoff, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. in the Fillius Events Barn. The reading is free and open to the public.

Memmer is the author of two books of poems, most recently Threat of Pleasure (June, 2008) and Sweetheart, Baby, Darling. Also the author of three chapbooks, he is the director of the Arts Branch of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse, where he founded the Downtown Writer's Center in 2001. Memmer is the editor of Two Rivers Review.

Georgia Popoff is a teaching and performing poet, a spoken word producer, and senior editor of The Comstock Review. She is the Central New York program director for Partners for Arts Education, faculty member of the Greater Syracuse YMCA's Downtown Writer's Center, and a board member of the Association of Teaching Artists.
