Professor Zillah Eisteinstein from the Politics department of Ithaca College will deliver a lecture, "Feminisms and September 11's Aftermath," on Monday, Nov. 26, at 6 p.m. in
KJ Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

Professor Eisenstein will speak on issues of women in Afghanistan, gender apartheid, and sexual terrorism in the context of post September 11. She is the author of eight books on political theory, sexual equality, and gender as well as the author of hundreds of articles, conference reports, essays, and op-ed pieces. She is a recognized leader in feminist scholarship and has been acclaimed by her fellow scholars as well as by women's study groups and women's peace and rights organizations throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan.

This lecture is sponsored by the Womyn's Community Center and the Peace and Justice Action Group. Co-sponsored by the Womyn's Community Center, the Levitt Center, and the Women's Studies Department.
