The Hamilton College Continentals (3-11, 1-9 NESCAC) closed their season with a 3-1 NESCAC loss against the Williams College Ephs at Williams' Renzie Lamb Field on Wednesday night.

Victoria Trentini ’15 made a season-high 16 saves for the Continentals, who were outshot 31-11. Trentini entered the evening tops in the NESCAC with 9.62 saves per game.

Hamilton gave up a pair of goals early in the second half that broke a 1-1 tie. The Continentals had tied the score on the fifth goal this year by Nikki Haskins ‘14 with 8:13 left in the first half. Sam Sherman ’15 assisted on the goal, giving her a pair of helpers this fall. Haskins finished her Hamilton career with 26 goals, which puts her in third place on the program's all-time list.

Annie VanWagenen ’16 scored twice for the Ephs (6-8, 4-6). VanWagenen opened the scoring at the 21:45 mark and tallied the game-winner 5:17 into the second period. Emily Jablonski ‘14, who assisted on VanWagenen’s second goal, closed out the scoring on an unassisted goal with 25:08 remaining in the second half. Ariana Spilotes ’16 made three saves for Williams.
