Field hockey moves into Division III poll

Hamilton College made its first appearance in the 2010 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Top 20 poll on Oct. 5.

Nationally ranked No. 19 Hamilton (6-1 overall, 3-0 Liberty) has won four straight games and is tied for first place in the Liberty League standings. The Continentals' loss was a 2-1 decision at No. 10 SUNY Cortland back on Sept. 14.

Hamilton plays a pair of league games on the road this weekend. The Continentals take on No. 15 William Smith College (9-2, 2-1) on Friday, Oct. 8. Hamilton then visits the University of Rochester (3-6, 0-3)  on Saturday, Oct. 9.
