Hamilton College field hockey player Erin McNally '12 (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake HS) has been selected to the 2008 all-Rookie Team for NCAA Division III by womensfieldhockey.com.

McNally is one of 16 first-year players on the all-rookie team. She started and played every minute of all 15 games at center midfield. She scored two goals and was second on the team with eight assists. She was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Year and was placed on the all-league First Team earlier in November. She ranked third in the league in assists per game.

McNally was voted to the all-region team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association earlier this month. She made the North Atlantic Region's Second Team.

Hamilton (8-7 overall) tied for third in the final Liberty League standings and made the four-team league championship tournament for the first time in the event's seven-year history. The Continentals capped the year with their first postseason appearance since 1995.
