The Hamilton College field hockey team makes the first international trip in program history this August when the team travels to Argentina.

The team, guided by fourth-year head coach Gillian McDonald, will land in Buenos Aires on Aug. 13 and return to New York on Aug. 21. The trip includes four training sessions, matches against four Argentinean club teams and plenty of sightseeing.

Hamilton earned a berth in the Liberty League tournament semifinals in 2008 -- the program's first postseason appearance since 1995.
