Hamilton College alumnus Guy Hebert returned to Clinton yesterday to raise money for the Shawn Grady Memorial Fund to help families who have children with life-threatening diseases.

Hebert, a 1989 graduate and professional hockey goalie for the New York Rangers, participated in the third annual Shawn Grady Memorial Golf Tournament at the Skenandoa Golf Club. He was recently traded from the Anaheim Mighty Ducks to the New York Rangers. Hebert was also a member of the 1998 USA Olympic Team in Nagano, Japan.

Also present were Phoenix Coyotes goaltender Robert Esche  and Nashville Predators goaltender Mike Dunham. The three goaltenders, along with injured New York Rangers goaltender Mike Richter, autographed a USA Hockey Jersey for auction, which raised a significant portion of money for the Shawn Grady Memorial Fund.

The Shawn Grady Memorial Fund raises money to help local families with children who have life-threatening diseases. The fund is directed and run by Hamilton College Hockey Coach Phil and Beverly Grady. Also present to volunteer were Brian Grady '01, Josh Spanburgh '01 and Chris Baudo '01.
