Hamilton held off a second-half rally from Hartwick and defeated the Hawks 4-2. Courtney Zimmer opened the scoring for Hamilton just 1:26 into the game and, after goals by Alissa Lange and Michelle Kennedy, Hamilton held a 3-0 midway through the half. But, Marci Short scored just before halftime and Tina Hogan just after as Hartwick closed to within one. But, brilliant goaltending by Azure Davey, who finished with 22 saves, and a late goal by Marissa Solomon iced the 4-2 win for the Continentals.
