Dave Cataruzolo converted a penalty shot with just 1:50remaining in the game and the Bears were able to kill of the ensuing delayofgame penalty (objects on the ice) to hold off Hamilton College in the seasonopener. The Continentals got whistled for intentially knocking the net off itsmoorings with under two minutes to play in regulation,
resulting in the penalty shot.
