Hamilton, after leading 8-0 midway through the third, cruised to the easy win over Hobart. The Continentals scored four goals in the first fifteen minutes and led 7-0 after two periods. Mike Michalski scored three goals in the final ten minutes for Hobart. Jeff Bradley led Hamilton with two goals and two assists, while Ben Hawn added three assists. Jake DeBoever had 25 saves in goal for Hamilton, while Matt Vassillion and Dave Cohen combined for 32 saves for Hobart.
