Joe Baudo had three goals, one even-strength, one on thepower-play and one short-handed, and four assists as Hamilton cruised to an 8-2win over St. Anselm. The Continentals scored five power play goals. Freshmangoaltender Brent Davey made 31 saves to improve to 12-1-1 on the season, ZacSweetland added two goals and Joe's brother Chris had two assists, includingone to Joe to put Hamilton up 2-1 in the second.

Hamilton's Joe Baudo opened the scoring with a power play goal at 15:31 of thefirst, but St. Anselm answered with a goal by Mike Bianculli on a two on onebreak at 14:39. Joe Baudo scored off a nice feed from his brother Chris, givingHamilton a 2-1 lead at 4:48 of the second. The Continentals went up 3-1 withanother power play tally when Scott Meyer tipped in a Brian Coakley shot fromthe point at 9:13 of the second. Brian Guastella and Zac Sweetland (on thepower-play) added goals to make it 5-1 at the end of the second.

St. Anselm cut the margin to 5-2 with a power-play goal at 1:56 of the third,but Hamilton answered with a power play tally of its own, by Sweetland, justminutes later. Later in the period, Joe Baudo had a short-handed goal and DavidWebb iced the win with another power-play goal.
