Chris Masotto scored the game-winner with 0:36 remaining as Hamilton twice rallied from three-goal deficits to defeat Keuka in the Continentals' season opener. Masotto led the way for Hamilton with four goals and an assist and Bob Hawkanson added three goals and two assists. It was the first win for new Hamilton Head Coach Kevin Gilmartin.

After Hamilton jumped ahead 2-1, Keuka scored three unanswered goals to take a 4-2 halftime lead. The Warriors led 5-2 and then 6-3 after a Kyle Erickson goal with 5:28 remaining in the third quarter. Hamilton reeled off three straight to tie the game at six at the end of the third quarter. Masotto put the Continentals 8-7 with 4:53 remaining before Keuka's Kyle Houser tied the game at eight with 2:51 left.

Houser led Keuka with three goals and one assist and Dan Barry added two goals and three assists. Jim Ellwood made 16 saves for the Warriors, while Mike Bumiller and Rob Strelick combined for nine saves for Hamilton.

Hamilton (1-0): Chris Masotto 4-1, Bob Hawkanson 3-2, Darren Higgins 1-1, Jason Dewar 1-1, Matt Green 0-1, James Walsh 0-1. Mike Bumiller 5 saves, Rob Strelick 4 saves.
