Hamilton Alumni to Return for Reunion Weekend

More than 1500 alumni and their families are
expected back for Hamilton's annual Reunion Weekend festivities, Thursday, May
30-Sunday, June 1. Highlights will include the Reunion Parade, a "State of the
College" address by President Tobin, the annual meeting of the Alumni
Association, several panel discussions and a Service of Remembrance.
Other events scheduled for the weekend include the reading of the Half-Century Class Annalist's Letter by John Backus, Class of 1946. The Bell Ringer Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Hamilton College Alumni Council, will be presented posthumously to Professor Emeritus Edwin Barrett and actor Bill Roehrick, Class of 1934.
Special reunion classes this year include the Class of 1926, celebrating its 70th reunion, the Class of 1946, celebrating its 50th reunion and the Class of 1971, celebrating its 25th reunion.
