Clinton, N.Y. -- The Hamilton College Choir will perform in six concerts in cities in Western New York and the Midwest from March 11 -17. All performances are free and open to the public.

Under the direction of G. Roberts Kolb, professor of music and director of choral music at Hamilton since 1981, the choir and College Hill singers will present a selection of both sacred and secular works, ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. The program will include works by Victoria, Monteverdi and Purcell; a group of English romantic partsongs; a selection of folksongs and spirituals; and a work written for the Hamilton Choir by the recent winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Music, Melinda Wagner, a 1979 graduate of Hamilton College.

Sunday, March 12, 2:30 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Route 43, Aurora, Ohio;

Monday, March 13, 7:30 p.m., Indian Hill Episcopal-Presbyterian Church, 6000 Drake Road, Cincinnati, Ohio;

Tuesday, March 14, 7:30 p.m., St. James Cathedral, 65 Huron St., Chicago, Ill.;

Thursday, March 16, 7:30 p.m., Hope Lutheran Church, 4312 Forestview Drive, Toledo, Ohio;

Friday, March 17, 7:30 p.m., Glenn and Awdry Flickinger Performing Arts Center, Nichols School, 1250 Amherst St., Buffalo.
