Michael Schantz scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as
hamilton tuned up for Princeton with a 98-62 victory over Clarkson. Kevin
Thorpe (VVS) added 17 points while draining 5-6 three-pointers. Hamilton, which
built a 57-25 halftime advantage, shot 53% from the field and outrebounded the
Golden Knights 53-33. The Continentals are ranked first in the nation in
rebound margin (14.7 rpg).
Kevin Larson and JJ Raedts each had 14 for Hamilton, while Chris Schneider led Clarkson with 14. "After a tough loss at St. Lawrence last night (88-85), we really came together today and played a solid game," said Hamilton Head Coach Tom Murphy.
Hamilton (8-3) travels to New Jersey to take on the Princeton Tigers (11-3) at 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
