Courtney Nelson, the daughter of Mr. Ronald F.Nelson and Mrs. Emma McKnight Nelson, and a candidate for May graduation from Hamilton College, has been selected to teach English in Austria through the Fulbright Program.

The Fulbright Program's purpose is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries, through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills. This mission is accomplished by sponsoring recent college graduates to study or teach abroad for a year after graduation. The program promotes cross-cultural interaction in an atmosphere of academic integrity and intellectual freedom.

Nelson will teach under the auspices of the Fulbright Program, in conjunction with the Austrian Ministry of Education's English language teaching assistantships program.

A senior majoring in English and German at Hamilton, Nelson is a graduate of Rush-Henrietta Senior High School.

Help us provide an accessible education, offer innovative resources and programs, and foster intellectual exploration.
