On a rain-soaked, sloppy field Hamilton pulled away in the
second half to defeat previously undefeated Oswego St., 3-1. The Lakers got on
the board early in the first half on an unassisted goal by Missy Verdoliva, her
sixth of the season. But Hamilton answered with a goal by Marissa Solomon
midway through the half. The score remained tied until midway through the
second half when Solomon headed in the game-winner on a corner kick from
Christina Robeson. Gretchen Randall iced the win for Hamilton as she beat
Oswego St. goalkeeper Natalie DiGiovanni with under a minute remaining.
