The Hamilton College men's basketball team (6-4, 6-2UCAA) won its sixth game in a row powered by junior forward MichaelSchantz's 25 points and 14 rebounds and Kevin Thorpe's 18 points andfive rebounds.

The Continentals held an eight-point halftime lead, but the scrappy Rennselaersquad kept the game close until Thorpe scored six points in a crucial12-2 late second half run. Junior guard Max Stroman chipped in 14points, and sophomore Lamar Johnson added nine points, eight rebounds,and four assists.

Alex Dowlin led Rensselaer in scoring (18) and rebounding (7), andguard Justin Leonard added 10.

The Continentals host Union tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. at Scott FieldHouse.
