HAMILTON WINS SIXTH IN A ROW

The Hamilton College men's basketball team (6-4, 6-2 UCAA) won its sixth game in a row powered by junior forward Michael Schantz's 25 points and 14 rebounds and Kevin Thorpe's 18 points and five rebounds.

The Continentals held an eight-point halftime lead, but the scrappy Rennselaer squad kept the game close until Thorpe scored six points in a crucial 12-2 late second half run. Junior guard Max Stroman chipped in 14 points, and sophomore Lamar Johnson added nine points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Alex Dowlin led Rensselaer in scoring (18) and rebounding (7), and guard Justin Leonard added 10.

The Continentals host Union tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. at Scott Field House.
