Hamilton Wins Third Straight With 7-1 Victory Over Colgate

Hamilton held Colgate to eight shots and forward Charlotte
Davet scored two goals to lead Hamilton to its third consecutive victory to
start the season. Deborah Elvin opened the scoring with a power-play goal at
16:22 of the first and the Continentals never looked back. Sara Begg and Amy
Williams scored 0:21 seconds apart midway through the second to make it 3-0
and the Continentals added three more goals to make it 6-0 at the end of two
periods. Each team added a goal in the third, with Charlotte Henniger notching
the lone Colgate goal. Isabel Roberts stopped seven shots for Hamilton, while
Jennifer Buck made 43 saves for the Red Raiders.
