Hamilton came back from a 15-point second-half deficit to defeat Keuka 83-75 in overtime and capture the championship of the Hamilton Invitational. Mike Schantz led the Continentals with a career-high 30 points and nine rebounds and scored Hamilton's first ten points of the overtime. The score was tied 75-75 with 2:05 left in the extra session, but Hamilton closed out the game with an 8-0 run.

In regulation play, Keuka jumped out to a 35-25 halftime lead and a 51-36 advantage with 12:20 remaining. But Kevin Thorpe (VVS) hit a long three-pointer and made several steals to lead Hamilton on a 9-0 run to cut the deficit to six at 51-45. Another 9-0 run minutes later gave the Continentals the lead, 54-53, with 7:34 left. The lead seesawed the rest of the way and both teams had chances to win at the end. Keuka threw the ball away with three seconds remaining and a 25-foot desperation three-pointer by Schantz rimmed out at the buzzer, forcing overtime.

Thorpe finished with 14 points and Kevin Larson added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Hamilton (6-1). Schantz was named tournament MVP. Antoine Hyman had 19 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots for Keuka (6-3).
