The Hamilton College women's soccer team tied Union College, 1-1 today at Hamilton. Amanda Siepiola (Clinton, NY) tallied the games first goal in the 17th minute off a rebound from Carissa Baritell's (Tully, NY) shot. Union had six total shots in the first half but only two were on the net. Hamilton goalie Azure Davey (Lowville, NY) was equal to the task.

In the second half Hamilton had their best chance when Baritell got clear on a breakaway, but shot the ball just wide of the net. Union tied the game in the 64th minute when Lauren Byrne (Northport, NY) put home the goal on an assist from Abbie West (Dalton, MA).

In the first overtime each team had their chances but could not find the net. In the second overtime Baritell had a chance to win the game but Union goalkeeper Shannon Powers (Springfield, MA) went down on the turf, robbing Hamilton of the victory.

Hamilton is now 2-0-2 on the season and will travel to Clarkson this Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. start. Union is now 3-0-1 on the season.Scoring Summary:
