Hamilton College's Andrew Haser '17 (Newton, Mass./Milton Academy) was selected the NESCAC Baseball Player of the Week on Monday.

Haser hit .538 as the Continentals took two out of three games at Middlebury College on April 11 and 12. He went 7-for-13 with two doubles, scored four runs, drove in three more and handled 14 chances in the field without an error. In Sunday’s 5-1 win, he tied a career high with three hits and scored twice. Haser went 2-for-4 with one double in both games on Saturday and added two RBI in the nightcap as Hamilton evened the series.

The third baseman is ranked 10th in the NESCAC with six doubles and 17 RBI. Haser is 13th with a .549 slugging percentage and 16th with a .373 batting average.

Haser and the Continentals take on SUNY Canton at DeLutis Field on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. Hamilton hosts Amherst College for a three-game NESCAC West Division series on Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18.
