Hamilton College's Joe Jensen ’15 (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro HS) has been selected the New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) male track athlete of the week.

At Hamilton’s season-opening competition, Jensen set one school record and tied another. His first-place time of 36.24 seconds in the 300-meter dash at the SUNY Brockport Early Season Invitational set a facility record and broke Hamilton’s oldest indoor track record (36.1, set in 1981). Jensen tied the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.13 seconds, which was good for third place and second among collegiate runners.

Jensen and the Continentals return to action on Saturday, Jan. 18, at Colgate University’s Class of ’32 Invitational.
