William R. Kenan Professor of Government Cheng Li, who has recently been promoted to Director of Research at the Brookings Institution's China Center, spoke at Yale University Law School's China Law Center on Tuesday, Feb. 10. His presentation, part of the center's Chinese Legal Reform workshop series, was titled "China's Emerging Generation of Leaders: Trajectory for the Future."
On Thursday, Jan. 22, Li participated in a congressional briefing, "China in 2009: A Roadmap for the New Administration," organized by the Congressional US-China Working Group and the National Bureau of Asian Research.
Li also serves currently as a director of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, a member of the Academic Advisory Team of the Congressional U.S.-China Working Group and a trustee of the Institute of Current World Affairs.
