Despite Little's efforts, which included 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight steals in the first half, Bowdoin only led the Continentals by three (28-25) at the half. The Polar Bears were a paltry nine of 37 shooting (24%) in the first 20 minutes.
Hamilton took control early in the second half with a 19-11 run to take a 44-39 lead. But Bowdoin responded with a 15-0 run to take the lead at 54-44, and never trailed again. Hamilton kept the game close in the end, as junior Jen Moran scored eight of her 13 points in the final two minutes. However, Bowdoin put the game away behind Samantha Good, who connected on six straight free throws to keep the game out of reach. Good was the game's high scorer with 20 points.
Senior Ashley Merriman led Hamilton with 13 points and 17 rebounds, while sophomore Sabrina Valenta had 10 points and collected 10 caroms. Lauren Myers added 17 points for the Polar Bears.
