Some of our classes organize speak-outs and panels on topics. One that I can speak to was a panel a couple of years ago on Title IX. The students invited the Athletics Director, the Gender Equity Committee, Bob Simon (golf coach and professor of philosophy) and several male and female athletes to speak on the topic. The Events barn was jammed, mostly with students. Other speak-outs over the year have focused on issues of race and sexual violence.
