There will be a special showing of "Long Night's Journey into Day," a newly released documentary about South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission, on Thursday, May 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Red Pit, KJ.
"Long Night's Journey into Day" provides a dramatic inside look at one of the most innovative and ambitious attempts at dialogue and healing in human history....The film documents South Africa's quest for restorative justice as it follows four cases presented before the Commission. The film was winner of the Sundance Film Festival 2000 Grand Jury Prize Best Documentary. Directed by Frances Reid and Deborah Hoffman.
