Thomson West has published Litigating Business and Commercial Tort Cases by Matt Cartwright '83, P'15, Joseph C Peiffer, and Kirk Reasonover.  The practice guide explains the law for each cause of action for business torts and includes practice tips, analyses of potential claims and defenses, and forms necessary for handling a case.  All three authors are current or past chairs of the American Association for Justice's (AAJ) Business Tort Section.

Cartwright is a partner at Munley, Munley & Cartwright, P.C., which specializes in representation of victims and consumers in personal litigation. He holds admissions to the state courts of Pennsylvania and New York as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

At Hamilton, Cartwright majored in history. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986.
