Hamilton College’s club eight entry finished in 17th place at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta held in Philadelphia, Pa., on Oct. 24.
 
The temperature was in the 60s with intermittent rain showers throughout the day, and a 10 to 20 mile-per-hour head wind on the course. Hamilton’s entry in the club eights completed the 2.5-mile course in 14 minutes, 33.0633 seconds. The University Barge Club finished in first place in 13:33.0933.
 
Hamilton also competed in the novice four race, and finished fourth of 16 boats with a time of 17:52.6367. Temple University’s entry took first place, finishing in 16:33.5633.
 
Ricky Bottini '10 was coxswain for the eights. The rest of the boat included Gibson Hoyt '12 at stroke, Tim Belden '10 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Chris Visentin '12, Charlie Palanza '10, Adam Minchew '12, Rafael De La Rosa '12, Andre Matias '11 and Matt Poterba '12.
 
Noah Ford '13 was coxswain for the fours. The rowers included Jake Lucas '13 at stroke, Michael Kahn '13 in the bow seat, Dylan Jackson '13 in 3-seat and Brandon Moore '12 in 2-seat.
 
Hamilton’s fall season is complete.
