Men's golf defeats Wesleyan in Florida


Hamilton College defeated Wesleyan University in a dual meet held at The Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on March 20.
 
Phil Preiss ‘10 finished first of 14 golfers with a 5-over-par score of 77. The course measured 6,480 yards. Scott Blosser ‘12 and Hans Schulte ‘13 tied for second -- each posting a score of 78. L.J. Scurfield ‘12 rounded out the top four performers for the Continentals with a round of 80 to finish sixth.
 
Hamilton finished with a team score of 313, while Wesleyan ended up with a team total of 328. The Continentals will play in the Sunshine Invitational at the PGA Village Ryder Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on March 25.
