Hamilton College finished third in the 2012 Hamilton Men's Golf Spring Invitational at Skenandoa Club in Clinton, N.Y., on April 10.

Eleven teams from 10 schools competed in the 18-hole tournament on the 6,765-yard layout. SUNY Delhi brought two teams, and Delhi's Red squad won the team title with a four-man total of 303. Delhi's Blue team finished fourth at 312, Rensselaer was runner-up at 308 and the Continentals were next at 310.

Greg Scott '14 -- a 2011 All-American -- led Hamilton with a 2-over-par 74 and tied for third place out of 59 golfers. Scott and five others made the all-tournament team. Thirteen of his 14 rounds in 2011-12 have been in the 70s or better.

Carter White '14 fired a 77 and tied for ninth place. Dhanika de Silva '15 tied his season-best round with a 79 and finished in a tie for 14th place. Scott Blosser '12 carded an 80 and tied for 17th place.

The Continentals return to the links on Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15, for the Manhattanville-New York University Invitational at Spook Rock GC in Montebello, N.Y.
