Hamilton College placed seventh out of 16 teams in the 2011 Hamilton Fall Invitational, which was held at Yahnundasis Golf Club on Oct. 8 and Skenandoa Club on Oct. 9.
2011 All-American Greg Scott '14 led the Continentals as he earned a spot on the six-man all-tournament team. Scott carded a 4-over-par 75 at Yahnundasis, and fired a 1-over 73 at Skenandoa, which is Hamilton's home course. His 36-hole total of 148 was good for third place out of 91 golfers.
Brandon De Graff '14 was the only other Continental that broke 80 both days. De Graff shot 77 on Saturday and 78 on Sunday. His 155 total tied him for 22nd place. Carter White '14 posted an 80 in the first round and 79 in the second as he tied for 36th place at 159.
A couple other Hamilton players competing as individuals recorded solid rounds during the weekend. Scott Blosser '12 tied Scott for the best round by a Continental at Yahnundasis with a 75. Bobby Hamill '15 owned Hamilton's best round of the tournament with an even par 72 at Skenandoa. Dhanika De Silva '15 mirrored White's performance with an 80 Saturday and 79 on Sunday.
The Continentals' four-man total was 312 at Yahnundasis and 313 at Skenandoa for a total of 625. Manhattanville College captured the team title at 605, and Williams College was runner-up four shots back. Middlebury College and SUNY Delhi tied for third at 611.
