Hamilton College's Mike DiMare '14 (Medford, Mass./Avon Old Farms School [Conn.]) was selected the NESCAC men's ice hockey player of the week on Nov. 28.

DiMare's honor is his second at Hamilton. He led the Continentals to a 2-0-1 record last week, including the 2011 Skidmore College Invitational title. He scored three goals and assisted on four others.

Hamilton (2-1-1 overall) edged Skidmore 4-3 in Sunday's championship game. DiMare was credited with three helpers, including the primary assist on the game-winning goal with 1:14 left in the third period. He was named the tournament's most valuable player.

DiMare is tied for third in the NESCAC with seven points and four assists, and is tied for fifth with three goals. He leads the Continentals with those seven points.

Hamilton hosts Trinity College on Saturday, Dec. 3, and Wesleyan University on Sunday, Dec. 4, for a pair of NESCAC clashes.
