Henry Burchenal '12 scored four goals to lead visiting Hamilton College to a 13-6 non-league win against Drew University in Madison, N.J., on March 19.

Burchenal has nine goals in the past two games. Luke Sisler '14 chipped in three goals, and Luke Sadoff '12 had two goals and an assist. Jon Leanos '12 tied a career high with four assists for the second straight game, and also scored a goal.

Steve Lefebvre '11, Chris Whelan '13 and Pax Anthos '14 tallied one goal each, and Luke Walsh '13 was credited with two assists. Mike Clarke '13 picked up a team-high four ground balls, and Paul Citarella '12 won seven face-offs. Mike Fiacco '13 caused three turnovers. Max Vaickus '12 made five saves in three quarters, and Garrett Akie '12 stopped two shots in the final 15 minutes.

Andrew Somps paced the Drew offense with two goals and an assist. Scott Humphreys added one goal and one assist. Sean McGowan won 12 of 19 face-offs and scooped up 10 ground balls. Charlie DeSocio made 12 saves in 54-plus minutes, and Andrew Goldberg stopped one shot late in the fourth quarter.

Anthos' goal with 4:35 left in the first quarter gave Hamilton the lead for good at 2-1, and Leanos made the score 3-1 with 3:14 remaining. Those two goals were the start of an 8-0 run as the Continentals scored six unanswered in the second quarter for a commanding 9-1 advantage at the break.

Hamilton (3-0 overall) was 3-for-5 on extra-man opportunities, and enjoyed a huge 43-22 shot advantage. The Continentals had 16 successful clears in 18 attempts. Drew (2-2) committed 28 turnovers.

Hamilton travels to local rival Utica College for another non-league game on Wednesday, March 23.
